Only 1 hours drive from Edinburgh with its castle and historic buildings, and Glasgow with its museums (most of which are free) and wonderful shopping for those who like a spending holiday. Stirling which is only 15 miles away also has lots of historic attractions including the castle,plenty of eating places to choose from and an excelent shopping centre. Plenty of distilleries where you can view the making of our National drink and you can even sample a dram. Everything for the tourist to enjoy.
